			<courseDescription>In our Adobe Fireworks Level One course students will learn how to use Fireworks CS4 to design effective, high-quality images for the Web. They will learn how to customize the Fireworks environment, create and modify vector shapes duplicate and merge shapes create and apply custom colors, gradients, and patterns import and modify bitmaps and format text and optimize and export graphics for the Web.</courseDescription>

			<objective>Show and edit rulers, grids, and guides in order to position items with precision on a Web page.

			<objective>Create hotspots to which you will assign links, alt text, and link targets.

			<objective>Slice complex images into sections and use the Optimize panel and Fireworks’ Preview modes to optimize the images individually.

			<objective>Create simple and customized rollover and disjoint rollover effects using effects, patterns, and textures.
